WIT provides counseling and advocacy services for women and their families who are endangered by intimate partner abuse and/or by substance abuse. The primary responsibilities of this position include leading and managing development efforts to raise an annual budget of nearly $1 Million. This includes creating an annual development plan and time line of activities. Requirements include: Bachelors degree in communications or human service; minimum 4 years fund raising experience and a proven track record in all aspects of private fund raising, grant writing and special events; computer proficiency in fund raising software, Corel WordPerfect, Microsoft Office and database management.
