Job Opening: Director of Conservation Programs — The Nature Conservancy
Managing all conservation activities and programs in New Jersey, the Director of Conservation Programs will work closely with the state director to develop and implement conservation vision and strategies, manage conservation staff, promote ecological restoration, nurture enduring relationships with local, state, federal agencies and officials as well as landowners and the community, and oversee annual initiatives including budgeting and evaluation of all programs. Qualified candidates will possess a graduate degree in a related field and 5-7 years experience. Expert knowledge of ecosystem dynamics and landscape ecology, excellent communication and supervisory skills, commitment to conservation, and a strong work ethic are required, as is experience in project administration and management.
