Greater Philadelphia Cares is seeking an enthusiastic, positive individual with a desire to help others. It is necessary for the individual to be a motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills, and ability to multi-task and to jump in and grow with a dynamic and innovative team committed to creative community change. Other required characteristics include detail-oriented, organized, able to manage multiple projects, and work well under pressure. Great communications skills and a can-do attitude a must!

Director of Communications and Public Relations

*1-3 years experience
*Must be proficient with Adobe PageMaker, Illustrator, and Photoshop on Windows OS
*Knowledge of Macromedia Dreamweaver/HTML
*Create and send out regular emails in HTML
*Create a monthly newsletter/calendar designed in PageMaker. Must be able to design layout, import graphics/images, and prepare the file for service providers
*Export a PDF version for our web site
*Create brochures, flyers, posters, postcards, t-shirt designs
*Create images for the web
*Crop and alter photos and images to fit in layout designs
*Opportunities to design annual event & program logos
*Be in direct contact with printing vendors and getting quotes
*Set printing and mailing schedules and making sure we accomplish them on time
