We are currently seeking a Director of Autism Services for oversight and expertise of our Pennsylvania ASD programs, which are focused on the assessment, treatment and delivery of services to children, adults and families.
What Will This Opportunity Offer You?
– A leadership position within the broader autism community, through activities highlighting Devereux as a source of expertise and excellence in autism services.
– Pursuit of new business development, program development, training, and consultation within Devereux and the autism community, as well as identification and submission of grant opportunities.
– Work with Devereux’s National Autism Director, Dr. Todd Harris, in identifying projects worthy of publication or presentation, and periodic assistance with national professional development initiatives.
– Develop partnerships and affiliations with universities and other institutions to establish mutually beneficial relationships for a variety of training, research and service activities.
This high-impact role will provide administrative oversight and consultation of services to several programs within Pennsylvania, in conjunction with Clinical and Executive Directors from CARES, CIDDS, CAAPP, internal and external D-PBIS, STAIRS and the Pennsylvania Autism Assessment Program. This position will also be responsible for leading the Pennsylvania Autism Resource Team, assisting PA Leadership and HR to recruit and select qualified autism program staff, and fulfilling a specific number of billable hours in consultation services.
