Job description
The Association Office of the Philadelphia Freedom Valley YMCA is seeking a cause driven leader to serve as their Director of Association Analytics.
What you’ll do:
- Proactively identify analysis opportunities across all verticals and business units within the association.
- Collaborate with Senior Branch Staff to evaluate business decisions for their community. Analyze market data in support of a coordinated approach to programming and community service
- Support the measurable impact and ability to track effectiveness of Association and Branch initiatives. Provide coordination and leadership for other project team members as needed.
- Create evidence-based tools to propel the Y forward.
- Lead assigned projects; create timelines to accomplish project goals within defined timeframes and budgets.
- Develop, measure, and communicate financial and operating benchmarks for branch utilization.
- Provide detailed financial analyses for areas identified as potential growth opportunities including, but not limited to, childcare sites or community partnerships.
- Interpret financial trends and provide advice and counsel regarding business development, growth and challenges.
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field; Master’s degree a plus with five or more years of professional experience in financial analysis, management, business analysis and project management.
- Knowledge and experience in aspects of financial operations. Understanding of non-profits a plus.
- Ability to work positively with colleagues at all levels in the organization and all levels of knowledge.
- Strong communication skills – including written and oral communication as well as presentation skills; ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a diverse and varied audience
