Call for Panelists and Presenters
DigitalSistas.net Second Annual African American Women In Technology Summit

DigitalSistas.net invites women of color in technology and new media to provide their expertise as part of DigitalSistas Second Annual African American Women in Technology and New Media Summit. The Summit will be held at the Community College of Philadelphia, Friday and Saturday, March 28-29, 2003.

This year?s Summit theme is: ?Identifying Opportunities in a Volatile Economy.? More than 100 women, professionals in technology as well as those interested in transitioning to the technology field, are expected to attend.

Participation as a Panelist
Summit panels, to be held on Saturday, March 29th, will center on following
subject areas:
1. New Technology Jobs ? Where are they?
2. Technology for a Mobile Population
3. Best Practices in Educational Technology
4. Internet 2

Each panel will consist of three panelists plus a facilitator. Each panel will be a total of 1 hour in length Panelists will speak for 10-15 minutes. There will be a 15-minute Q&A

Participation as a Presenter
Unique to this conference will be the opportunity for participants to make a 5-minute ?pitch? on their involvement in new and exciting technology endeavors. This ?DigitalSistas-Quickie? should be of particular interest to entrepreneurs, educators, and businesswomen.

?DS-Quickies? will be pre-selected for showcasing during the conference. Please keep your submission limited to 150 words.
