Digital Skills and Bicycle Thrills

Posted by Better Bike Share Partnership on April 4, 2016

The Better Bike Share Partnership (BBSP) is an effort led by the City of Philadelphia that works to ensure that Indego is accessible to all Philadelphians. Indego helps Philadelphians get to all kinds of places, and as we expand to new neighborhoods, we are working with partners to create opportunities for residents to connect with resources in their communities. Indego is new and exciting, and we are committed to offering educational opportunities to help everyone learn to use the system.

Thanks to the Better Bike Share Partnership, the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Transportation & Infrastructure Systems is teaming up with The Mayor’s Commission on Literacy to launch a digital skills training course for adult learners that combines building digital skills with learning about Indego.

There will be two cohorts for the program this Spring, each running for one month. Participants will learn digital skills at their own pace while completing assignments related to Indego and bike sharing. They will also have the opportunity to participate in a group ride and learn safe cycling skills. Individuals who complete the program will receive a free six-month pass to Indego.

Sign up to participate in this free class by calling 1-844-446-3346!
