Día de los Muertos Procession / Procesión de Día de Muertos

Our Dia de los Muertos celebration is just a little over two weeks away! Our main celebration on Sunday, October 29, begins with a procession down 9th Street and we hope you will be a part of it. Dress up as a catrina (female folk skeleton) or don calavera (skull) makeup and join traditional Aztec dancers and son jarocho musicians for the procession makes its way from Southwark School to Fleisher.
Participants will gather at Southwark School beginning at 2:00 p.m. on October 29 and you will need to bring your own costumes and makeup. For additional details, contact us at info@fleisher.org.
¡Nuestra celebración de Día de Muertos está a la vuelta de la esquina en solo dos semanas! Nuestra celebración principal en octubre 29 comenzará con una procesión y esperamos que tú y tu familia pueda ser parte de este magnífico evento. Vístete de Catrina o un Don Calavera y ven junto a los danzantes aztecas, músicos de Son Jarocho a través de esta procesión que llegará a las puertas de Fleisher a celebrar junto a la comunidad la gran Ofrenda de Muertos.
Todos los participantes se reunirán en el patio trasero de la Escuela Southwark a las 2:00pm. En este día cada participante tendrá que traer su propio atuendo y maquillaje para participar. Para más detalles visita http://fleisher.org.
