Posted by Gearing Up on January 19, 2015
Gearing Up provides women in transition from abuse, addiction, and/or incarceration with the skills, equipment, and guidance to safely ride a bicycle for exercise, transportation, and personal growth.
Gearing Up is seeking a volunteer to support our Development Director with donor gift processing, data entry, and prospect research. Required time commitment would be approximately 10 hours a month (varying each week), increasing during the time both before and after our three largest fundraisers (mid-May, mid-October, and early December).
Experience in donor database management and/or prospect research preferred. Other non-profit development experience a plus! Attention to detail, ability to follow directions, and time management skills are a must. This flexible volunteer position is ideal for a student or young professional seeking development experience in the nonprofit sector.
