Job Title: Development Manager
Reports to: Executive Director
Position Overview:
The Development Manager will assist the executive director in managing the Center’s year-round fundraising portfolio, with a focus on grant writing and special events. She/he will manage all revenue-generating programs and activities and chart progress and success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Working closely with Program team, write and submit grants and reports including all ancillary materials; manage annual calendar of submissions and reports
• Manage all aspects of special events (Gala, Golf Tournament and Third Party) including fundraising, logistics, volunteers, etc. Create and closely monitor event budgets
• Identify new funding opportunities including foundation, corporate and public & private entities
• Manage Workplace Giving campaigns
• Ensure Center is up-to-date on all local, state and federal licenses, registrations and applications relating to fundraising activities
• Maintain fundraising database
• Ensure timely acknowledgements are made to all donors
• Other duties assigned by supervisor
Education: Bachelors Degree
Qualifications: Two to three years demonstrated related development experience. Nonprofit experience. Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office
