Internship Summary:
We are seeking a Development Intern that is energetic, fast-learning, and creative to join our team and support our annual fundraising campaign, Cultivando Futuros|Cultivating Futures for a minimum of 10-15 hours per week between June and August. The position will be available during the Fall and Spring terms as well. If you want a place to grow and learn, this is it.

Cultivando Futuros|Cultivating Futures is a fundraising strategy focused on enhancing an individual donor campaign benefiting key areas to improve Congreso’s impact and effectiveness. Cultivando Futuros|Cultivating Futures serves to ensure that Congreso builds its capacity to sustain its own future growth opportunities.
General Duties
Conduct research on individual donor prospects; help maintain donor databases (Sage and Salsa); assemble lists of potential donors; assist with publicity and outreach efforts; assist with prep for donor meetings, mailings, and tours; assist with donor cultivation event logistics; write thank-you letters; other special projects as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Someone interested in fundraising, marketing, technology, and the web; brilliant attention to detail; excellent writing skills; public speaking experience; event and project management experience; social and outgoing; pro-active and initiative-driven; familiar with basic business applications: email, MS Word, Excel, the web, etc.; Spanish speaker preferred, but not required.
