Job description
Position

The Development Coordinator will support the Development Department in the fundraising operations, including research and implementation of personalized cultivation plans of individual donors, corporations and foundations to help raise funds and awareness for The Moyer Foundation (TMF). The position will also assist with research, tracking, writing and reporting of grants.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Research and submit letter of inquiry to prospective foundations and corporations.
• Help implement and maintain stewardship plan for corporations and foundations.
• Track all corporate and foundation activities and maintain files and materials.
• Help develop and maintain effective gift tracking and stewardship program for individuals, including updating the database with background research and adding new information.
• Participate in meetings with Development and Program staff to track and research grants proposals, and participate in the writing of grant applications.
• Run reports as requested from donor database
• Coordinate and prepare documents for meetings of National Executive Director, Director of Development and Founders with donors, foundations or corporate contacts.
• Assist with special projects.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in grant research and writing
• One to two years of development experience or a similar fundraising position working with individual donors, corporations and foundations is required
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to multi-task and track several projects at once
• Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and oral)
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office suite and experience working with donor databases
• BA required
