Norris Square Neighborhood Project (http://www.myneighborhoodproject.org) is currently searching for a self-starter and organized professional to assume the role of our part-time Development Coordinator.
The Development Coordinator supports the Director of Development in executing development efforts for Norris Square Neighborhood Project. The Development Coordinator’s main focus will be implementing strategy for fundraising efforts including individual donor management, events, and communications.
Individual Donor Management
Maintain department and donor files.
Provide general support for members of the Board of Directors and Board Development Committee.
Manage donor acknowledgement process (thank you letter production, copying, mailing, and filing).
Track, maintain, and acknowledge in-kind donations.
Event-planning
Assist with special activities to increase the organization’s visibility among funders.
Assist with conducting the full range of activities required to design, coordinate and implement development events and supports organizational events as required.
Research and identify viable development events for the organization.
Create and submit documentation on development, progress and conclusion of any other event activities.
Submit financial accounting for special event activities.
Communications:
Work with graphic designer to create marketing materials.
Manage communications efforts including fall and spring appeals, along with monthly e-newsletters.
Assist Communications Intern in developing and maintaining Social Media strategy.
Update website as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Familiarity working with fundraising database systems or advanced Excel skills
Organized
Self-Starter
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite Software is a plus!
Position is part-time!
