Salvation Army – Development Communications Intern
The Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia has an opening for an unpaid part-time Development Communications Intern.
This is an opportunity to join a fast paced development team responsible for direct marketing; major gifts; foundation relations; and marketing and communications.
Writing and research responsibilities include a biannual newsletter for leadership donors; features for monthly e-newsletter; stewardship reports for individual donors; content for Major Gift Officers’ websites; and researching statistics to support foundation proposal submissions.
Requirements include at least two years of coursework at college or university level, demonstrated track record of strong writing skills, flexibility, the ability to follow through on assigned tasks and to take initiative, and an understanding of and appreciation for the mission of The Salvation Army.
