Mazzoni Center LGBT Health, a well respected nonprofit organization in Center City Philadelphia, seeks to hire a Development Associate to assist with Mazzoni Center’s fundraising program with the goal to increase funding for the organization, its staff, and its work. The Development Associate reports to the Director of Development and Marketing. A successful candidate should have excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills; the ability to work independently and consistently to achieve goals and complete tasks in an effective and efficient manner. Some duties include, but are not limited to: manage donor base, to include data entry, generating acknowledgements and reports. Assisting with coordination of special events. Serve as liaison to volunteers corps for events and fundraising events. Administrative support for grant writing and donor development. Qualifications: Ability to work independently within a diverse setting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in computer applications, such as, Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate must have the ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and have great attention to detail. Bachelor’s degree required, with a minimum of 2 years experience.
