The Mayor’s Office of Civic Engagement and Volunteer Service (MOCEVS) is currently accepting applications for a Deputy Service Officer.
The Deputy Service Officer will work closely with the Chief Service Officer to lead efforts and initiatives, manage programs, and leverage partnerships within City government and community partners, to increase volunteerism and help City leaders strategically and equitably engage with the community to achieve policy objectives.
The Deputy Service Officer will serve as a thought partner to the Chief Service Officer in creating robust systems to advance the mission of the office. They will also support and build capacity for the program directors and managers and lead day-to-day office operations. Ultimately, the Deputy Service Officer will maintain the knowledge-base and commitment to the MOCEVS culture to be able to act as a proxy for the Chief Service Officer.
