Capacity-building program supports Bucks nonprofits
Foundations Community Partnership in Doylestown has joined with The Nonprofit Center at La Salle University’s School of Business to offer opportunities to nonprofit organizations serving Bucks County’s special needs children, youth and families to build and strengthen their organizational capacity to provide their community services.
Nonprofit organizations that serve these needs (even if they are located outside of Bucks County), may be eligible to receive capacity-building consulting services, on-site training and other technical assistance, funded by Foundations Community Partnership.
Among the key issues that this support will help organizations address are strategic planning, human resources skills development, such as supervision and communication program evaluation, and fund development plans.
The Foundation is also hosting a free presentation called Demystifying the Consulting Process, that provides valuable insights and information for any organization that is considering the possibility of a future consulting project on February 2nd from noon to 2pm at La Salle University’s Bucks County Center, 33 University Drive, Newtown. Registration is mandatory.
The Foundation invites organizations that fit these criteria to contact Associate Director Nancy DiNatale at 267-247-5584 or by email ndinatale@fcpartnership.org.
