The Delaware Valley Legacy Fund, which supports projects supporting the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered communities, has launched a new grantmaking initiative on the theme of Economic Empowerment.
Applications are due on August 15th. Priority will be given to applications from organizations whose mission or programs address poverty-related barriers, particularly in the areas of basic need (e.g. shelter, food, health, safety) and/or long term need (e.g. employment, vocational training, entrepreneurship, educational access and achievement, personal financial management).
