Delaware Valley Grantmakers sets annual conference
The annual conference of Delaware Valley Grantmakers will explore how funders, nonprofits and communities are Holding It Together in High Wire Times on Thursday, November 3rd from 8:30am to 1:30pm at WHYY, 150 N. 6th Street in Philadelphia.
At this year’s conference, participants will hear on-the-ground perspectives from fellow leaders about the current environment and stories of how they are coping, engage in a dialogue about how people are sustaining themselves as individuals, organizations and communities in order to remain viable and relevant, and envision ways to adapt practices, better advocate for missions and more effectively communicate value as a collective force for positive change.
Speakers include Washington Post columnist and nonprofit expert Dr. Paul C. Light, Nadya K. Shmavonian, President of Public/Private Ventures, and Jeremy Nowak, President and CEO of the William Penn Foundation.
Cost is $140 until October 21st and $190 thereafter.
