Delco Literacy Council begins GED, ESL orientations
The Delaware County Literacy Council is offering free classes and free tutoring for adults in English as a Second Language (ESL), reading, writing, math, citizenship preparation, and General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preparation.
Classes will be starting September 13th in Chester and Upper Darby, and will run for 12 weeks. Individual and small-group tutoring is available year-round at a variety of locations in Delaware County and Montgomery County.
All adults interested in joining a class or working with a tutor must register for a two-day orientation session by calling Patty at 610-876-4811. Pre-registration is required.
