Delaware Fund For Women Opens Application Period for 2010 Grant Program
Deadline: January 31, 2010
The Fund For Women at the Delaware Community Foundation has launched its 2010 grants program, which is aimed at supporting nonprofit agencies that have projects benefiting women and girls in Delaware. Since its inception in 1994, the Fund For Women has given more than $1.2 million to 216 nonprofit organizations statewide that support programs for women and girls.
To be eligible for funding, project proposals must address the needs of Delaware women and/or girls. Applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.
The Fund For Women will evaluate proposals based on the following criteria: the need and value of service to Delaware women and/or girls; a reasonable allocation of resources to the project; clear project goals and objectives; a plan to measure results; leveraging of resources and collaboration with other nonprofit organizations; and innovation.
The fund does not support funding for individuals, capital projects, debt reduction, or endowment campaigns.
Grant requests in amounts up to $15,000 will be considered.
Visit the Delaware Community Foundation Web site for complete program information.
