Debate Judges needed, After School Activities Partnership
Posted by After School Activities Partnership on January 30, 2017
Do you have good judgement? Are you looking for a way to support education in Philadelphia? ASAP/After School Activities Partnerships is looking for volunteers to act as Debate Judges so that more of our middle and high school students are able to compete at our tournaments. Anyone can judge – no prior experience needed! Short orientations are held monthly throughout the school year – the next one is Monday, February 6th from 5p-6pm at ASAP’s office (1520 Locust St., Suite 1104). After attending an orientation, volunteer Debate Judges will be asked to respond to occasional emails as their time allows – there is no ongoing commitment required.
ASAP develops and supports high-quality after school activities, including Public Forum Debate for middle and high school students to promote critical thinking, reading, writing, and public speaking through fun competitions.
To learn more about ASAP Debate and volunteering as a Debate Judge, please contact Sara Morningstar at 215-545-2727 x10 or [email protected].
