As part of Philanthropy New York’s Reframing Philanthropy Series and the Great Debate series from SeaChange Capital Partners and Baruch College’s Center for Nonprofit Strategy and Management, CEP President Phil Buchanan (Giving Done Right) and Professor of Political Science at Stanford University, Rob Reich (Just Giving), engaged in a debate titled “Is Giving by the Wealthy a Good Thing?” The debate, held last month, was moderated by Lorie Slutsky, president of the New York Community Trust. Phil Buchanan and other members of the CEP team are available to speak on a variety of topics including what it takes to be an effective individual or institutional giver, how to best strengthen nonprofits, and the future of philanthropy.
