United Way expands Days of Caring to year-round project
For the past 17 years, United Way’s Days of Caring volunteer participation rates have continued to steadily increase.
In an effort to take advantage of that caring power for your agency, United Way has expanded Days of Caring from a two day event to a year-round effort which will provide your agency with the volunteers you need when you need them most.
Whether your agency needs volunteers to read to children, lead financial literacy classes for hard-working families, paint your community room or deliver meals to homebound seniors, volunteers can make a big difference for your agency and your community.
To help your organization plan a project and maximize the opportunity to create a positive relationship with a company plan to attend one of the upcoming briefing sessions.
The first session is set for Wednesday, November 18th from 9-10am at United Way, 7 Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, and the second on Friday, December 11th from 11am to noon at the Pottstown Area Health & Wellness Foundation, 152 East High Street, Suite 500 in Pottstown.
