1000 Ways To Listen Project: Day of Listening – Nov 2
Posted by Temple University on October 1, 2019
Temple Contemporary at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art and Architecture has commissioned theater artists 600 HIGHWAYMEN, to create a multiyear performance project called 1000 Ways to Listen. This will be an opportunity for Philadelphians to ask each other the question, “Are we listening?” A Day of Listening will take place, this year, on Saturday, November 2, 2019. Philadelphians from across the city will engage one another in an hour-long conversation as a growing and empathetic movement to listen to someone they would have otherwise never met.
We want to ensure we have a deeply diverse and true representation of Philadelphia among our listeners and think your community and networks would benefit from getting involved. You can find a link to the official participant form at: http://www.1000waystolisten.com. All responses will be kept confidential.
We believe that we all have a civic imperative to actively and openly listen to one another, and we hope you will be one of the 1000 Ways to Listen!
