Database Manager, People’s Emergency Center

Summary:
PEC seeks a strategic thinker to manage and oversee its’ Development department’s customer relations management database. The qualified candidate will work closely with the Development team in a collaborative environment to ensure the proper management and use of the Raiser’s Edge software. The ability to problem solve (identify data problems and propose practical solutions) is a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data Management
  • Lead efforts to capture, organize, use and analyze constituent data to achieve department and organizational objectives
  • Implement a proactive strategy and day-to-day systems for tracking Development activity and information including gift recording, biographical data, contact management, income projections and crediting of all other Development-related data
  • Manage gift processing/data entry/acknowledgement letters and manage data integrity for the Development and Finance offices
  • Extract, analyze, and distribute data on donor giving and other Development activities
  • Coordinate site visits for funders and prospective donors
  • Provide ad-hoc reports and queries as requested
  • Develop tracking systems for campaigns, matching challenges, and other special funds
  • Assist as necessary with cultivation and acknowledgment of donors
  • Manage data gathering for annual report and other donor recognition
  • Conduct defined prospect research findings to support Development activity

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in data entry and report writing
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Raiser’s Edge experience
  • Must be extremely detail oriented and comfortable performing repetitive tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior interpersonal skills; interaction occurs with staff, donors, Board members and outside agencies

Salary
