Data Entry and Family Engagement Specialist
Congreso de Latinos Unidos, Inc., a dynamic nonprofit, is currently seeking a full-time Data Entry and Family Engagement Specialist to work within its Education and Workforce Services division. The Data Entry/Family Engagement Specialist is primarily responsible for the input, analysis and support of all databases within the Children and Youth services department. The Data Entry Specialist works closely with the Compliance & Operations Manager and Site Coordinators to develop each program’s data framework. S/he is charged with inputting and monitoring all data in order to ensure that all the services rendered are documented into the appropriate databases.
Additionally, the Data Entry Specialist will regularly communicate with families to
support with application completion and to provide families with relevant information regarding after school programs.

Essential Responsibilities
Provide initial client orientation and conduct Comprehensive Assessments for initial client and other family members
Responsible for daily entry of client enrollment, dismissal, demographics, TANF status, indicators and program attendance in PBPS (DDAP), PCAPS (Public Health Management Corporation), and UNIDAD databases for Children and Youth Services Program
developing reports that reflect the total number of students served for the week, month, quarter and/or year
Develop and/or updates forms to collect baseline client data and information from all programs
Maintain regular communication and provide technical assistance support to program coordinators so that client data and information is collected more efficiently and effectively
Communicate with families by phone and in person to assist with application completion, program enrollment, and to provide information regarding after school programs
Provide high level of customer service to students and families
Support recruitment of students at after school program sites as needed
Support at after school program sites with high enrollment times and special events
Conduct routine audits of student files
Attend trainings and other professional development opportunities
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Certification
1 to 2 years working experience in data entry or related experience with same level of detailed work
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required (Word and Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
Associates Degree
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
