Curriculum Guides for Sustainability in Higher Education
Posted by on May 4, 2009
From Northwest Earth Institute
We’ve created a cost effective, ready-to-implement, high quality sustainability curriculum requiring minimal input on the part of faculty, staff or students. The content of these courses supports small groups through a self-facilitated behavior change process with regards to sustainability issues.
Most campuses begin with a simple pilot process. Our introductory packet for higher education institutions is linked below so you can see the ways in which our courses have been used across the country. Nearly 40 colleges, universities and community colleges including sustainability leaders, Evergreen State University and Willamette University have used our programs. You can read more about how we have worked with them in our Higher Education Introductory Packet on our website: http://nwei.org/higher_education.
