Cultivating Volunteers into Donors
Posted by Episcopal Community Services on April 2, 2018
Organization: Episcopal Community Services
Event Date: Wednesday, April 18, 2018
Event Time: 8am to 9:30am
Event Location: 225 S. 3rd St., Philadelphia, PA 19106
Event Description: It’s a great thing when you’re able to recruit volunteers who become really passionate about your nonprofit’s mission. The feeling of momentum swelling up behind your cause can serve as the necessary boost your organization may need to do the good work.
For a variety of reasons, be it a small budget or low bandwidth for creating a long-term strategy, it can be difficult to think forward into how your organization can harness the goodwill behind your mission and convert that into a life-long commitment to your cause.
This event aims to convene tenured professionals who have grappled with work in this area of development to provide insight on a very key challenge for growing nonprofits in the city. If you’ve ever wondered how your organization can secure its future as a change agent in the city, then this event might teach you some tips and tricks for making sure burgeoning support for your cause develops into something worth so much more.
After the panel discussion, feel free to stick around for light refreshments and time for networking.
This event is hosted by Episcopal Community Services as a component of our National Volunteer Week. For more information about other events happening this week, check out our website here.
