Philadelphia FIGHT is one of Philadelphia’s largest AIDS service organizations. FIGHT’s mission is to provide state of the art, culturally competent, HIV primary care, and opportunities for clinical research, social services, consumer education, and outreach to people living with HIV and those at high risk. Our goal is to end the AIDS epidemic within the lifetime of people living with HIV now. Our programs are designed with significant input from the affected communities, and respect the dignity and life experience of the people who participate in them, along with their right to self- determination in their own treatment and life choices. Since our origins in 1990 as a community-based research organization, we have consistently expanded to meet the growing needs of the HIV-positive community. We believe that the Internet is a critical tool in ending the epidemic.

For over twenty years, the Critical Path Project, has focused on addressing the disparities in access to the Internet in Philadelphia by offering a suite of Internet Services to the community at large including free dial-up Internet access to those who were the least likely to have it, free email and electronic list accounts, and website hosting. Through the Critical Path Project over 11,000 Philadelphians got their first Internet accounts and got online.
