Seed Grants Available for Creation, Expansion of Supportive Service to Grandparents, Other Relatives Raising Children
The Brookdale Foundation Group has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the creation or expansion of supportive service for grandparents and other relatives raising children. Under the RFP, up to fifteen programs will be selected to receive seed grants of $15,000 ($10,000 and $5,000, respectively), contingent on progress made during year one and the potential for sustainability in the future. Ongoing technical assistance will also be provided.
Any 501 (c)(3) or equivalent not-for-profit organizations can apply.
Proposals are due at the Brookdale Foundation Group office in New Jersey on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.
Selected applicants will be required to attend an orientation and training conference as guests of the foundation October 22-24, 2020, in Teaneck, New Jersey.
