Achieving community impact is a journey as much as it is a destination. On November 10, 2010 the North Penn United Way will begin the implementation phase of its journey to becoming a Community Impact organization. Over the past two years we have gathered information, studied best practices of other United Ways, developed our strategic plan, purchased support technology, and engaged the community in our organizational change through Community Solutions Teams. As a respected member of this community, your involvement on this day is vital to the overall direction of the North Penn United Way.
Please join us on November 10, 2010 as we move to another level in our community work. This is an opportunity to discuss the critical issues that our community cares about. The North Penn United Way will engage attendees with an authentic community impact agenda and position itself as a leader by seeking solutions to community issues in the focus areas of Education, Income/ Financial Stability and Health. Together we can create lasting change by addressing the underlying causes of the issues our communities are facing. You are invited to join other community leaders to identify goals and indicators, provide analysis, and develop strategies that will improve the quality of life for those living in North Penn and Indian Valley communities.
You are welcome to bring a guest with interest in addressing the issues of this community. Please RSVP by contacting Cheryl Clarke at [email protected]. We look forward to your participation in this next phase of community impact work.
