Intensive public speaking training offered by UWSEPA
Whether you work for a large corporation or a small community organization, everyone can benefit from the skill of becoming a commanding and confident speaker. Representing an organization or a community with powerful public speaking is an extremely influential skill that commands influence and attracts support.
United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania is offering a two-day intensive training, Create, Stand and Deliver: Effective Public Speaking Skills, on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 17th and 19th, from 9am to 3pm at United Way, 7 Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia. The course is designed to help participants make public speaking a more comfortable and successful experience by improving communication and leadership abilities.
Participants should be novice public speakers or those seeking to enhance their skills, have support from their manager or supervisor to participate, and be willing to participate in a videotaping process that is part of the training process.
The workshop is limited to 10 participants. To register or for more information, email Vonetta Robinson at [email protected] or call 215-665-2510.
For information on joining United Way’s Speaker’s Bureau, email Sienna Green at [email protected] or call 215-665-2610.
