Crafting for a Cause
When: Sundays 2-5 PM
Where: A-Space Community Center, located at 4722 Baltimore Ave
Crafting for a Cause is for people who knit, crochet or do other fiber arts (and those who want to learn) to get involved with a charity crafting effort. On Sunday afternoons, we’ll meet from 2pm-5pm for knitting/crocheting/sewing and refreshments to make things like hats and scarves for some local shelters in Philadelphia. The People’s Emergency Shelter will accept our handmade items, and there are a lot more shelters out there that could use warm items for the winter.
