COVID-19 Free Ambassadors and Representatives (COFAR) Hack-a-Thon – Nov 6
Posted by Women's Campaign International on October 19, 2021
When social advocacy is combined with creative tactics normally reserved for brands, the results can be dramatic. Social advocacy efforts often fail to break through to an audience. Creative messages can generate a stir, but without informed content, they can be little more than noise.
Amplify is an idea generating rally—informed by advocacy experts, fueled by creative leaders, energized by student thinkers. The event brings together students and communications, medical, and social influence experts to collaborate and brainstorm innovative ideas that will have a meaningful, positive impact on some of the hardest to reach audiences.
In addition to generating ideas that amplify solutions for the immediate challenge—addressing Covid vaccine hesitancy in high school students and their families—students gain valuable skills that can be used in the future to address other social issues and communicate messages effectively in the digital media age.
Participants becomes skilled creative problem solvers and ambassadors who can effectively engage community members and empower them to make positive choices.
