Cover the Uninsured Week Resource Guide
We are pleased to announce the availability of a new resource guide titled Cover the Uninsured Week’s Health Care Coverage in America: Understanding the Issues and Proposed Solutions. This guide provides basic information about the issue of the uninsured, such as how Americans get coverage, who is uninsured and why coverage is important. It also outlines policy approaches to securing coverage for more Americans and lists questions to ask when considering various policy options. This guide is a comprehensive tool that can be incorporated into and enhance many of your activities, particularly community forums, panel discussions and campus lectures.
This guide was prepared by the Alliance for Health Reform with support from The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. We trust that this publication will prove useful to a wide audience looking for reliable, up-to-date information on this important issue during Cover the Uninsured Week 2004 and beyond.
