Posted by on May 13, 2005
I would like to draw your attention to the PA Campus Compact web site (<a href="http://www.paccompact.org">http://www.paccompact.org</a>) where we have just announce a Request for Proposals to integrate service-learning and emergency management activities into the curriculum. We will award up to 15 grants (up to $4,000 each) to support faculty who wish to connect community based service focussing on emergency management with academic courses. Courses must be taught in the Fall 2005 academic term.
Applications are due at the PA Campus COmpact offices by 5:00 pm May 31, 2005.
These grants are made possible through the Ready Campus initiative that is supported by the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency and the US Department of Homeland Security.
Please contact James Birge at (717) 796-5072 or [email protected] with any questions.
