Counselor Connect, Temple University

Temple University invites you to join us for Counselor Connect! Counselor Connect is taking place on the campus of Temple University on Thursday October 12, 2017 from 8am-2pm. This is an opportunity for those that work in high school guidance, college readiness/preparatory programs in the Philadelphia area to visit Temple and learn more about our institution and ways in which your students can become #TempleMade!

The College Counselor event provides an opportunity for the Temple University team to work with Philadelphia area high school counselors and college admissions reps to:

  • Visit the Temple Campus
  • Have direct interactions/conversations specific to their students/institutions
  • Explore the fundamentals of the college selection process, financial aid, student life at Temple University

The purpose of the College Counselor event is to offer a forum in which our colleagues can ask questions, receive answers, and discuss the realities of achieving post-secondary education for their students. Our primary goals include:

  • Building/Growing relationships with HS partners
  • Educate/Inform HS partners on the college selection process, and Temple University specifically
  • Desired takeaways for the event include- increased knowledge on the application process, how to be more proactive with the student application process, and increased financial awareness
