Temple University invites you to join us for Counselor Connect! Counselor Connect is taking place on the campus of Temple University on Thursday October 12, 2017 from 8am-2pm. This is an opportunity for those that work in high school guidance, college readiness/preparatory programs in the Philadelphia area to visit Temple and learn more about our institution and ways in which your students can become #TempleMade!
The College Counselor event provides an opportunity for the Temple University team to work with Philadelphia area high school counselors and college admissions reps to:
- Visit the Temple Campus
- Have direct interactions/conversations specific to their students/institutions
- Explore the fundamentals of the college selection process, financial aid, student life at Temple University
The purpose of the College Counselor event is to offer a forum in which our colleagues can ask questions, receive answers, and discuss the realities of achieving post-secondary education for their students. Our primary goals include:
- Building/Growing relationships with HS partners
- Educate/Inform HS partners on the college selection process, and Temple University specifically
- Desired takeaways for the event include- increased knowledge on the application process, how to be more proactive with the student application process, and increased financial awareness
