Core Mission Grants of $100,000, Impact100 Philadelphia – Nov 5
Posted by Impact100 Philadelphia on October 20, 2020
As we move toward the start of a new grant cycle, we are reaching out as broadly as possible in the five-county Philadelphia region to inform organizations about Impact100 Philadelphia and our funding opportunity for core mission grants of $100,000.
The goal of Impact100 Philadelphia is to fund high-impact grants that address unmet needs in the Philadelphia region and raise the profile of smaller nonprofit organizations. Through this work, our goal is to make our community more just, equitable, and healthy for everyone. Since 2009, we have awarded more than $3.5 million to 55 nonprofit organizations in five focus areas: Arts & Culture, Education, Environment, Family, and Health & Wellness.
We are very interested in informing a broad range of organizations about Impact100’s funding opportunity, especially organizations that have not previously applied for our grants, and those whose board and senior leadership reflect the racial or ethnic diversity of the community they serve.
Our process starts with an online Letter of Inquiry due in December. We suggest that potential applicants review the Apply for a Grant section of our website to determine whether their organization would be a good fit. We advise that they look especially at our Eligibility Criteria and these Frequently Asked Questions.
A Grant Applicant Information Session will be held via Zoom on Thursday, November 5. We welcome organizations to send a representative to this free session. Read more and register for the session here.
