Mural Tour Coordinators
The City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program (http://www.muralarts.org) is the nation’s largest public art program of its kind. Since its inception in 1984 the Mural Arts Program has created over 3,000 community-driven murals and provided thousands of under-served youth and adults with award-winning arts education programming.
The Mural Arts Program is seeking two or three individuals to work approximately twenty hours per week from April to November 2010. Individuals will work closely with the Mural Tour Manager, a volunteer team, and staff at the Independence Visitor Center located at 6th and Market Street.
The Mural Tour Coordinator(s) will be responsible for recruiting tour passengers, booking guests on tours, escorting guest to vehicles and assisting tour guides. Ideal candidate(s) are required to have excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
Tour Schedule:
April 2010 – Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
May through October 2010 – Monday through Sunday 8:30am
November 2010 – Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Pay Rate:
$9/hr with performance incentives.
