Consulting, Rebuild Initiative
Posted by City of Philadelphia on July 24, 2017
The City of Philadelphia is seeking a consultant to help the City evaluate the financial qualifications of potential Rebuild grantees based on financial documents submitted in response to the Rebuild Project User Request for Qualifications (the “Project User RFQ” or “RFQ”) and other available information.
Rebuild is a multi-year program that will invest approximately $500 million in parks, recreation centers, and libraries across Philadelphia over a roughly seven-year period. The improvements will ensure that communities that are most in need of investment are better served by their neighborhood facilities. These investments are intended to promote educational opportunities for children, support healthy lifestyles for all, improve public safety in our shared spaces, attract new residents, and create jobs across the city. There are three major goals of the Rebuild initiative: revitalizing community spaces, engaging and empowering communities, and promoting economic opportunity.
The City invites qualified firms to apply for this opportunity. The City is seeking a firm that has experience with the accounting standards applicable to non-profit and for-profit organizations, and a deep understanding of the financial management capacity needed to manage large government and philanthropic grants. The City anticipates selecting one applicant with which to contract.
