Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia is seeking a full-time Construction Site Supervisor experienced in both new and rehab housing construction. Responsible for supervision and training of construction staff, AmeriCorps and volunteers. Must be able to supervise all aspects of the building process, from foundation to finish. Hands on position with very little administrative work. Additional duties include quality control, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and building codes, and maintaining safe building conditions. This position?s work week is Tuesday through Saturday with some evening meetings. Email resume and cover letter to Shelly Halloran, Program Director at [email protected]. No calls, please. Minimum six years full-time construction experience in residential homebuilding and related supervision required. Requires a thorough knowledge of all facets of construction, ability to read plans and complete material take offs, excellent verbal communication and an ability to work independently as well as with volunteers.
