2014 Fred Forward Conference
Connections by Design: Creating Media, Children, and Family Partnerships through Research, Collaboration, and Advocacy
June 1-3, 2014
The Senator John Heinz History Center, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
How do we help children grow as confident, competent, and caring human beings? This is our BIG question as the Fred Rogers Center marks its ten-year anniversary. All of us are venturing into an increasingly more digital world. Like television once was for Fred Rogers, today’s technology and media are promising tools. Let us use it to communicate something positive and important about the world to our children. The 2014 Fred Forward Conference invites media creators, scholars, educators, and advocates to share, listen, and inspire one another. Together, our work helps children build consistent, positive, and meaningful connections with human beings and new media.
Registration fee: $250
