The 12th Congress of Health Professions Educators, Integrating Clinical Prevention and Population Health into Education, Practice, and Research: Preparing the Next Generation of Health Professionals, will be held in Washington, DC, on June 6-7, 2005. At this conference, experts will explore how best to prepare the next generation of health professionals. The Association of Academic Health Centers is delighted to co-sponsor this year?s Congress with the Association of Teachers of Preventive Medicine, with whom we have worked to develop a curriculum framework designed to accomplish the Healthy People 2010 goal of increasing the prevention content of clinical health professions education; at this meeting, we will also examine the genesis, scope, and implementation of the curriculum framework.
