Conflict Resolution & Peacemaking in Higher Education Symposium

In honor of International Conflict Resolution Day, the Association for Conflict Resolution, Greater Philadelphia Chapter, and the Institute for Forgiveness and Reconciliation are collaborating on
a special symposium focusing on education and the practice of peaceful conflict resolution in various forms
Colleges and universities in the area are invited to highlight their programs of peaceful conflict resolution practice and education for the purpose of reinvigorating and further growing their respective programs.
This symposium will include: program presentations, networking opportunities among academics and practitioners in the higher education and conflict resolution field, and featured keynote speaker, David J. Smith – education consultant, adjunct university professor in peace and conflict analysis, former senior manager at the United States Institute of Peace, and author of Peacebuilding in Community Colleges.
