Service-Learning & Character Education:
A Conference for Teachers and Community Advocates
The Pennsylvania Service-Learning Alliance and the Pennsylvania Alliance for Character Education will once again be sponsoring a conference on service-learning and character education this summer. Join us July 9-10, 2003 in State College, PA for this exciting Act 48 opportunity. The conference will be held at the Nittany Lion Inn, just before the Penn State Arts Festival. Mark the date! Plan on attending!
This conference will help you learn how to incorporate service-learning and character education into your K-12 curriculum. It will be a great chance for you to meet and network with teachers experienced with service-learning and character education.
Online registration will be available at the PSLA & PACE websites April 1st. Registration brochures will be in the mail March 15th. Questions? Want to present a workshop? Call (412) 648-1440 today.
