Conference on Diversity, Equity, and Student Success: Can We Handle Truth? – Mar 9-11
Posted by Association of American Colleges and Universities on February 7, 2023
Registration is open for the Conference on Diversity, Equity, and Student Success: Can We Handle Truth? Secure your spot by February 15 to enjoy early bird savings. This is the perfect opportunity to attend in-person and virtual sessions that will center truth-telling within the context of setting aspirational goals for diversity, equity, and student success, and for leading institutional transformation!
As educators, we value the diverse exchange of ideas and the pursuit of knowledge. Yet, we also recognize that challenges often emerge when our differences and deeply held ways of knowing and being conflict. What can the critical examination of existing narratives and lived experiences reveal about how institutional structures are supporting and/or hindering diversity, equity, and student success goals?
The in-person and virtual conference, taking place March 9–11 in Henderson, Nevada (outside of Las Vegas) will challenge you to think within and beyond your current perceptions and circumstances through an exploration of the true realities facing students and educators today.
Early bird registration ends February 15.
