Think Big, Plan Now: College Signing Days
May 1 will be here before you know it, despite winter blizzards and FAFSA completion events that make it feel otherwise. Now is the time to start planning for College Signing Days, a chance to celebrate students for making a commitment to higher education. Hosted by schools, organizations, community leaders and influencers, Signing Day is a chance to rally around local students and show them your support. Created as part of the First Lady’s Reach Higher initiative, this movement is a way for educators, counselors and parents to encourage those heading to college, but as part of Better Make Room it’s also a way for students to inspire and encourage others, too.
We encourage you to join one of the informational calls from the First Lady’s Reach Higher initiative to be held January 29, February 2, and February 4. All calls are at 2 p.m. ET and will share the same information. Call 888-989-8174 and use participant code 8447933.
