“Building Creative Communities,” by Appalachian Regional Commission, Asheville, N.C., April 11-12, 2005.

Join us for a dynamic program with sessions focusing on building cultural, natural and structural assets for economic growth in Appalachia.

Sponsored by the Appalachian Regional Commission, this two-day conference will provide practical instruction on developing and adapting agriculture, craft, music, Main Streets, literature, cuisine, recreation and other local assets for the new economy. This conference follows up on many of the topics discussed at the 2001 Building Creative Economies conference, and the recent ARC conference in Abingdon.
